In case you’ve never heard of him, Hanuman was a Hindu monkey god who took a really big leap into the front splits across the ocean. The coolest thing about him though is that he didn’t think he could do it at first – so much like hanuman, the front splits is something you’re probably going to have to work at!
Hanumanasana or Splits is considered one of the more inaccessible yoga asanas. This workshop will help you understand the mechanics of the pose and allow you to work through the various challenges it presents.
Through a carefully structured sequence, skills and drills, you will approach the splits with knowledge and courage.
This workshop will leave you feeling encouraged, inspired and ready to tackle the splits in your own self practice or during class.
All levels welcome - this workshops is 2 hours of safe and progressive stretching.
