BEGINNERS COURSES

UPMINSTER

We run Beginners Yoga courses to help you to build an understanding of the general principles of Yoga.

You will gain insight into basic postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), bandhas (energy locks), drishti (gaze points), philosophy and relaxation (meditation).
The course will be based on the Vinyasa Flow style of yoga where you will explore sequences of movements such as ‘sun salutations’, as well as standing and sitting postures.

These courses are suitable for absolute beginners and also for those who want to return to the basics.

CLASSES SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS

We have a number of slower paced classes on our timetable that are suitable for those that are newer to yoga, getting back into the swing of things or want to take things a bit easier. Please let the teachers know you are new and take things at your own pace.

Wednesdays 9.15am - Yoga Flow + Yin

Wednesdays 7.45pm - Grounding Hatha

Thursdays 7.15pm - Yoga Flow + Sound

Fridays 6.30pm - Candlelit Yin

Sundays 9am - Slow Flow + Yin
