FAQs
What is a Reformer?
A Pilates Reformer is a spring-based resistance machine that supports and challenges the body through a wide range of controlled movements. It’s adaptable, versatile, and highly effective for strength, mobility, and alignment.
Do I need experience?
No experience is necessary. 1:1 sessions are ideal for beginners because your instructor guides you through everything step by step.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, form-fitting activewear is best. Grip socks are recommended for safety and stability.
How long is a session?
Sessions typically run for 50–60 minutes, depending on your booking.
How often should I come?
Most clients see excellent results with 2–3 sessions per week, but even once a week can make a noticeable difference.
Is Reformer Pilates good for injuries?
Reformer Pilates can be supportive when you’re working around injuries, but we are not physiotherapists. If you have an ongoing injury or medical condition, we always recommend checking with a qualified medical professional or physio before starting.
Once you’ve had the all-clear, we can tailor your sessions to suit your goals, current strength levels, mobility needs, and any movement limitations — ensuring you feel supported, safe, and confident throughout.
