The Pregnancy Club

A 4-Session Pregnancy Yoga & Birth Preparation Series

The Pregnancy Club is a relaxed and supportive space for expectant mothers to move, learn, share and prepare for birth together.

Each two-hour session blends gentle pregnancy yoga, practical birth preparation, and open conversation, helping you feel more informed, calm and confident as you approach birth.

Sessions include guided movement to support your changing body, expert insights from an NHS midwife, and time to connect with other mothers in a warm, supportive environment.

Each session finishes with deep relaxation, breathwork or yoga nidra to leave you feeling calm and restored.

What to expect each week

30 minutes pregnancy yoga
Gentle, mindful movement to ease common pregnancy discomforts, build strength for birth, and support overall wellbeing.

30–40 minute birth preparation topic or workshop

20–30 minute sharing circle
A supportive space to ask questions, share experiences and connect with other expectant mothers.

Relaxation, breathwork or yoga nidra

Session topics

Session 1 – Saturday 2 May
Preparing for Birth: Body & Mind
Stages of labour, how movement supports birth, and using breath during contractions.

Session 2 – Saturday 16 May
Aromatherapy for Labour
Essential oils commonly used during birth and which oils to avoid during pregnancy.

Session 3 – Saturday 30 May
Birth Mindset
Exploring fears around birth, expectations vs reality, and cultivating a positive birth mindset.

Session 4 – Saturday 6 June
The Postpartum Transition
Emotional changes after birth and an introduction to breastfeeding.

About your teacher

Irene is a nurse and NHS midwife currently working in London, and is also trained in hypnobirthing.

Her work centres around helping women feel informed, confident and empowered throughout pregnancy and birth.

Alongside her midwifery work, Irene teaches yoga and pregnancy yoga, creating calm, supportive spaces where women can connect with their bodies and feel more prepared for their birth journey.
