Inversions: Headstand, forearm stand and handstand

Inversions are fun and exciting poses, but they can also be scary and challenging to master without an understanding of how to work on them. In this 2-hour workshop Eimear will introduce you to her Progressive Inversion Method techniques for unlocking balance in headstand, forearm stand and handstand!
If you've ever found yourself feeling frustrated or afraid of inversions, wondering why someone else can balance upside down with ease but you can't, this is the workshop for you!
You'll start the workshop by moving through a range of key strength, mobility and flexibility exercises that will prepare the right areas of the body for going upside down. Eimear will then break down her technique for unlocking balance in headstand, forearm stand and handstand, with more challenging variations and options offered for those who can already balance in certain poses.
We'll explore how to work with, not against, your unique body on these poses. This is not a one way fits all system, but a more individual approach! Whether you have never balanced upside down before, or you're more experienced, Eimear will provide you with lots of helpful tips and tricks to help you build comfort and control in your inversions. Expect to work hard, learn lots and have lots of fun!
Open to all levels except complete beginners to yoga.
