Where weekend mornings meet movement, heat, and nature.
Begin with a 50-minute AFB Yoga or Pilates session—designed to awaken the body, build strength, and create space.
Then ease into the rhythm of an essential oil–infused sauna, followed by an invigorating icy cold plunge.
Finish with a cup of herbal tea, taking time to soak in your natural surroundings and connect with others..
The Flow of the Morning
8:30am — Arrive, ease into the space (max 16 spots)
8:40–9:30am — Move: AFB Pilates or Yoga
9:30–10:30am — Reset: Sauna, cold plunge, relax & connect

Please note there are no toilets on site.
This experience is all about being outside, connecting with nature, and embracing the elements. We’ll absolutely still go ahead in a little drizzle, so come prepared and lean into it those great outdoors. In the event of weather that’s truly not on our side, we’ll reschedule and transfer your booking to another date.

FAQS & what to bring
Booking & Cancellation
Spaces are limited and this is a small, curated experience, so all bookings are final and non-refundable.
Session time:
8:30am–10:30am
Please allow enough time to arrive calmly and ready to begin together.
What to wear:
• Comfortable clothes for yoga/pilates
• Swimwear for the sauna/cold plunge
• Warm layers for afterwards depending on weather
What to bring:
• Yoga mat (essential — mats/props are not provided)
• Water bottle (non-metallic preferred)
• Two towels — one to sit on in the sauna and one for drying off afterwards
• Comfortable outdoor footwear (Crocs, pool slides, sandals etc.)
• Sunscreen/layers depending on weather
Location & Parking:
There is no car access directly to the sauna site itself.
Please park in one of Thaxted’s free public car parks. The nearest is:
Bardfield Road Car Park (next to the Fire Station)

Directions from the car park:
• Exit left from the car park and immediately left again onto the Public Footpath, with Claypits Farmhouse on your right
• Walk past the farmhouse and round to the right
• Continue approximately 100m along the track
• The Sauna Paddock will be on your right — enter through the gate
A few important things to note:
• No under 16s
• There are currently no toilet facilities on-site, so please go before arriving
• There is a simple pop-up changing tent for a back-to-nature experience
• Bookings are non-refundable/non-transferable
• If weather is torrential, we’ll contact you up to 1 hour before if we need to cancel or move the session
